In an atmosphere full of festive atmosphere and Christmas magic, the “ELPIDA” Prevention Centre organised two special musical events aimed at raising public awareness on issues of addiction prevention and psychosocial health. On Tuesday 19 December, Kalamaria Town Hall Square was flooded with melodies from the musical group of Evi Siamantas. Along with the music, staff of the “ELPIDA” Prevention Centre distributed information material and answered questions from the public, contributing to information and prevention. A few days earlier, on Friday 16 December, the Central Square of Thermi was shaken by the rhythms of music, thanks to the band of Evi Siamantas. The event was a unique opportunity for outreach and networking between the Centre and the local community.
In both events, music acted as a bridge of communication, unity and solidarity, touching the souls of the attendees and sending a resounding message of hope and optimism. The melodies became one with smiles, hugs and wishes, creating a warm atmosphere full of emotions, experiences and new acquaintances. The spirit of Christmas, combined with the power of music, united people, reminding everyone of the importance of human contact, mutual support and social cohesion.
