Dear parents,
Do you sometimes feel pressure to raise the “perfect” child? A child who is always obedient, quiet, and first in everything? But what happens when this pursuit of the “good child” overshadows their unique, authentic nature?
The ELPIDA Prevention Center invites you on a journey of discovery and empowerment:
“The Myth of the Good Child: Beyond Expectations, Toward Authenticity”
A hands-on workshop consisting of 3 sessions, specially designed for parents who wish to:
- To gain a deeper understanding of their children’s real needs, beyond superficial behaviors.
- To deconstruct the social expectations and personal fears that often drive us.
- Discover how to cultivate authenticity, resilience, and healthy self-esteem in their children.
- Strengthen communication and connection within the family.
- Develop new parenting skills through self-awareness and personal development.
What awaits you?
In a warm, supportive, and respectful environment, we will explore together, through experiential exercises, creative activities, and open discussions, how we can move away from the pressure to be “perfect” and embrace the beauty of being “real.”
This isn’t just a seminar. It’s an opportunity to invest in the essence of parenthood, rediscover the joy of connection, and see your children—and yourself—with new eyes.
Join us in building bridges of understanding and unleashing the power of authentic family!

In view of the festive season, the ELPIDA Prevention Center and the Single Parents Volunteer Group invite you to a special event promoting creativity and interaction.
On Monday, December 1, 2025, our facilities will be transformed into a workshop of joy and art. Under the artistic guidance of set designer Katerina Liakou, we will make our own Christmas tree and decorations, using the technique of quilling and the philosophy of upcycling.
Why participate? This activity is not merely artistic, but an opportunity for personal growth and connection:
Empowerment & Expression: Through creation, we cultivate skills, boost our self-confidence, and find positive outlets for expression.
Social Connection: Come and meet us, support each other, and strengthen the feeling of “belonging” to a warm group.
Personal Responsibility & Ecology: We take action for the environment. We utilize simple materials that we have at home, giving them new life and value, promoting our ecological awareness.
What to bring with you: Participation is free. All you need is your good mood and simple reusable materials, such as:
Cardboard boxes
Buttons
Threads
We look forward to creating together!
