One of the most joyful groups, the mixed parent-child group “Getting to know our children differently…”, ended yesterday. Parents and children 4-7 years old came together in a circle and conversed through words, statues, living paintings, dance, painting, stories, games…! We saw the value of free play, got creative, expressed emotions, faced fears, set boundaries, found resources and finally said goodbye saying Good Summer!
Children and parents, thank you for your generosity and the wealth you brought!
The total duration of the group was 10 two-hour meetings, on a weekly basis. It was implemented in the premises of the Elpida Centre and was coordinated by Marianna Drakopoulou, Psychologist, Psychoanalyst, Dance Therapist. The main objectives were to strengthen the parent-child relationship and to bring the two together in a group process.
