It is not just a slogan. It is an attitude towards life and an act of responsibility.
As the ELPIDA Prevention Center, we actively participate in the Annual Action Plan of the Municipality of Kalamaria for the elimination of gender-based violence. We firmly believe that in order to build a society free of violence and stereotypes, we must first cultivate self-awareness and empathy on an individual level.
In this context, we invite you to participate in two important initiatives that aim to address the root of the problem: changing mindsets.
1. Theater Performance #Support_Hara An interactive “Forum Theater” experience. Here, the audience is not passive recipients. They become protagonists, intervene and change the story, discovering the power of personal responsibility in collective action. 🗓️ When: Thursday, November 27, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. 📍 Where: Stavros Kougioumtzis Municipal Theater, Kalamaria (Free admission for the general public)
2. Experiential Training for Educators “Gender stereotypes and prejudices: Their role in education.” An empowerment initiative for our educators, the people who shape the future. Our goal is to recognize and deconstruct the stereotypes that give rise to violent behavior. 🗓️ When: December 1, 2025, 4:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. 📍 Where: ELPIDA Center Offices (10 Hesiodou Street) ⚠️ Please note: Registration deadline is November 21 (scan the QR code on the poster).
