Me and the others
The Health Education Program “Me and Others” is addressed to high school students, implemented and evaluated in the school years 2013 – 2015.It includes: a) an introductory seminar for teachers, b) implementation of the educational material to the students and c) support for teachers during the implementation of the program.
Its aim is to empower the school community on psychosocial health issues.
Specific objectives:
- development of students’ personal and social skills (communication, emotional, self-esteem, self-esteem, boundary setting – protection from risks, cooperation and teamwork, acceptance of diversity)
- strengthening the climate of cooperation in the classroom and improving existing interpersonal relationships (pupils with each other, pupils – teachers)
- strengthening the pedagogical role of teachers (training in experiential learning, cooperative teaching skills, group coordination)

The educational material of the programme consists of 27 one-hour experiential workshops which relate to 5thematic fields:
- Team building/team dynamics/relationship with the team
- Communication: basic principles / Ineffective – Effective Communication
- Relationship to my feelings: Recognition/Expression/Management
- Relationship with myself
- Dangerous behaviours: Bullying / Addictions
- Group closure
