If all the children of the earth…
The Health Education Programme “If all the children of the earth…” is addressed to children of Kindergarten and the first and second grades of primary school. It is part of the thematic pillar “I care and I act”, subsection “Respect and Diversity”.
The aim of the programme is the acceptance of the diversity of the children themselves and of others. In particular, the objectives of the programme are the cultivation of individual skills such as:
- the recognition of the concept of diversity
- acceptance of the individual’s specificity
- the strengthening of self-esteem
- the cultivation of imagination
- connection with the diversity of others
- the skills of flexibility, cooperation and communication
- the management of conflict in relationships
- the meaning of friendship
- the vision of a kindergarten that respects diversity in practice
- the development of cohesion and mutual respect in the peer group.
The programme includes :
- the implementation of a training seminar, the duration of which will depend on the level of experience of each teacher; and
- supervision and support meetings in the implementation of the material on an individual or group level.
