In the context of the multi-level cooperation with the 2nd Gymnasium of Thermi, a lecture will be held entitled: “Teenagers and the Internet”. The event will take place on Wednesday, 27 March 2024, 17:30, at the school’s premises. The objectives of the above event are:
- informing and raising awareness among parents about the potential and risks associated with the use of the Internet by adolescents.
- the development of critical thinking and a healthy attitude towards digital technologies.
- promoting open communication between parents and teenagers on issues related to digital everyday life.
We expect the speech to:
- provide a springboard for fruitful dialogue and exchange of views.
- encourage parents to adopt effective strategies to guide their children in the digital world.
- contribute to the development of responsible and safe use of the Internet by adolescents and parents.
The speaker will be Mr. Andreas Meditskos, Sociologist, Scientific Director of the “ELPIDA” Foundation.
