Training for staff members of the Social Services Department at the ARSIS Facility for Unaccompanied Minors

The Prevention Center, in collaboration with the Social Services Department of the Facility for Unaccompanied Minors in Tagarades, is hosting a two-day online training session.

The primary goal of the training is to raise awareness among the staff of the aforementioned organization regarding the issue of addiction prevention.

The objectives of the training are to:

• define the concept of dependence
• identify the risk factors underlying the development of any form of addiction and
• examine the protective factors that act as a shield and a bulwark against addiction

The program is coordinated by Ms. Georgia Giourka and Ms. Marianna Drakopoulou, psychologists at the “Elpida” Community Center.
