The “ELPIDA” Center for Addiction Prevention and the Promotion of Psychosocial Health, which operates in collaboration with E.O.P.A.E., is expanding its summer community activities and participating in the Summer Employment Program organized by the Municipality of Thermi through the Department of Social Policy and Public Health. Our targeted initiatives focus on reviving traditional neighborhood games (such as ambariza, tzami, etc.).
Through these activities, students are given the opportunity to learn about how previous generations used to play, promoting an active and healthy form of expression that breaks away from the sedentary nature of digital screens. The main objectives of the program are: To promote cooperation, teamwork, and socialization among children. To encourage physical activity and motor expression through play. To enhance psychosocial health through authentic, experiential, and collective recreation.
Action Details:
Target Group: Students in the 5th and 6th grades of elementary school.
Time Slot: Morning, 10:00–11:00.
