We are pleased to inform you about the launch of the supervision group of the health education programme “Mental Health: Strengthening Self-Esteem”.
The programme is addressed to the teachers and students of the 2nd Primary School of Nea Michaniona and the Primary School of Kerasia. The aim of the programme is to strengthen the students’ self-esteem.
The supervision team consists of 11 teachers.
The first training meeting of the teachers was held by the coordinator of the supervision team, Anastasis Mavromichalis, at the 2nd Primary School of Nea Michaniona, on Thursday 28 November 2024 at 13:30 – 16:30.

Following our call for the participation of kindergarten teachers in Eastern Thessaloniki in a support group, we were pleased to receive so many participations that two groups were eventually created.

Following our call for the participation of kindergarten teachers in Eastern Thessaloniki in a support group, we were pleased to receive so many participations that two groups were eventually created. These started on November 6 and are being implemented simultaneously, at the Elpida Prevention Center.
The topic of each group is shaped according to the needs of its members. The method in both groups is experiential, which facilitates the members to actively participate in the process.
The coordinators of the groups are Ms. Marianna Drakopoulou, Psychologist and Mr. Andreas Meditskos, Sociologist.
In total, the group meetings will be 6.
