As part of the participation of the Hellenic Police in the pilot programme of O.KA.NA. “Interventions for networking and awareness raising of Prevention Centres with local Police Services”, two (2) two-day experiential seminars will be implemented for Greek Police officers (20 officers/day). More specifically, the topics will include. (c) Domestic violence/abuse; (d) Awareness of mental health issues. The first two days will take place on 8 and 9/11, while the second two days will take place on 21 and 22/11, from 10:00 to 14:00 at the premises of the “ELPIDA” Prevention Centre. The seminars will be attended by members of the Police Departments and Security Departments of the four (4) Municipalities of our area of responsibility (Municipalities of Kalamaria, Thermi, Thermaikos and Pylaia – Hortiatis). The action is coordinated by the Centre’s staff, Mavromichalis A. and Meditskos A.
