Prevention and treatment of school violence

With the start of the school year, we will attend the premises of the 2nd Municipal School of Panorama to implement training on the topic of raising awareness among teachers about school violence. We will examine what the concepts of “prevention” and “dealing with” violence mean, what forms it takes in the school community, what are the causal and protective factors and how everyone, through their role, can contribute to the weakening of the phenomenon.
It is important that such an action takes place at the beginning of the year, because it enables individuals and groups to establish healthy relationships from the beginning, free from violent behaviors.
The action will take place on the following days and times:
-Tuesday, 9/9, 10:00-12:30 and
-Wednesday, 10/9, 10:00-12:30.
The training will be coordinated by the scientific staff of the Elpida Center: Mrs. Marianna Drakopoulou and Georgia Giourka (psychologists) and Mr. Andreas Meditskos (sociologist).
