The Center for Addiction Prevention & Promotion of Psychosocial Health “ELPIDA”, in collaboration with E. O.P.A.E., announces the launch of a new experiential group aimed exclusively at Principals and Vice Principals of Primary Schools in the Municipalities of Kalamaria, Thermi, Thermaikos, and Pylaia-Chortiatis.
Philosophy & Purpose
School management is a position of responsibility that requires particular mental resilience. This intervention offers education professionals a supportive framework for dealing with the challenges they face, focusing on the principles of self-awareness and personal responsibility.
Thematic Axes:
- Managing Administrative Stress: Tools for coping with pressure in decision-making.
- Team Dynamics: Human resource management and conflict resolution within the school setting.
- Communication & Cooperation: Improving relations with the educational community and parents.
- Peer Support: Creating a stable communication network between peers.
Implementation Information:
- Participants: Senior executives of the Eastern Thessaloniki Regional Authority.
- Schedule: Six two-hour meetings, Mondays 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. (February 16, March 9, March 23, April 27, May 11, May 25).
- Location: ELPIDA Center facilities (10 Hesiodou Street, N. Krini).
- Coordination: Andreas Meditsos, Scientific Director of ELPIDA, Sociologist, MMedSci, MA, Positive Integrative Coach.
Participation in the event is free of charge.
Applications for Participation:
Due to the experiential nature of the group, places are limited (minimum number of 12 people) and priority will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. A prerequisite is a commitment to participate in all meetings.
